Routine Services

All consultation periods are run on an appointment system and appointments can be booked by telephoning us on 01608 642547. We will always endeavour to offer an appointment with your preferred vet whenever possible, at a time that is convenient to you.

First vaccinations

Puppy vaccinations are usually given at 8 weeks and 10 weeks of age, whilst kitten vaccinations are usually given at 9 weeks and 12 weeks of age. Rabbits can be vaccinated from 6 weeks of age. All of our vaccination consultations include a comprehensive health check. We will also discuss worming, flea treatment, neutering, microchipping and insurance.

Booster vaccinations

Dogs are routinely vaccinated annually against Leptospirosis and in addition every 3 years they will also be vaccinated against Distemper, Parvovirus and Infectious Canine Hepatitis. They can also be vaccinated annually against Kennel Cough if required.

Cats are also routinely vaccinated annually against Herpesvirus, Calicivirus, Panleukopaenia and Feline Leukaemia Virus.

Rabbits can be vaccinated annually against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease.

Nurses Consultations

We offer nurses clinics run by experienced veterinary nurses from 15.30-16:30 every week day providing a range of FREE services for your pets which include:

Physiotherapy
Diabetes Clinics
Rabbit Clinics

Our qualified nurses also offer a number of discounted services such as assistance in giving medication – including flea & worm treatments, nail clipping, and micro-chipping. Please contact our Receptionists for more details

From Jan 1st 2012 we will be extending the nurses' consult times by half an hour and they will run til 17:00
