All fees, drug costs, pet foods and other purchases are subject to VAT at the current rate. Fee levels for procedures such as surgeries and investigative diagnostic tests are determined by the vet and nursing time spent on a case and according to the drugs, materials and consumables used. A detailed invoice will be provided for each consultation, surgical procedure or other transaction with us. All drugs and diets must be paid for when collected.
Methods of Payment: Payment is due at the time of consultation or on collection of hospitalised patients. An invoice will be sent to clients who require a home visit. Please settle your account promptly to help us provide the highest standard of care for local animals.
Pet insurance will usually cover these fees. We can accept no liability for any fees not covered by pet insurance. If you provide us with a claim form, our insurance team is ready to help you reclaim fees after settling your payment to us. For further information call 01608 642547.
You may settle your account using: Cash, cheque (with supporting guarantee card), credit/debit card (Maestro/Solo/Mastercard/Visa/Visa Delta), including contactless payments and Apple Pay.

Estimates of treatment costs: Before any treatment is carried out the vet will discuss the likely cost implications of a course of treatment. Please bear in mind that many estimates can only be approximate as often an animal's illness will not follow a predictable course. This explains some of the costs of veterinary care.
