*Services*
We are now able to offer most procedures and treatments for your pets. However there are still services we are unable to offer including nurse consults and puppy parties. We are prioritising the boosters that are overdue so if your pet is due it’s booster in June please give us a few weeks to catch up.

*Branches*
We are still not able to open our Burford and Bloxham branch surgeries and running on fewer staff than normal at the hospital so please be patient with the team who are working as hard as they can to get your pets treated as quickly as possible.

*Appointments*
During this time we may not be able to offer you an appointment with your usual vet but if we can and they are working we will do our best. There also may be a slightly longer wait than normal for routine appointments.

*Phone lines*
The phone lines are extremely busy so if you have a non urgent query, need a repeat prescription or would like to register with us please email or use the online forms on our website.

All our social distancing measures are in place for the immediate future.

Please contact us for further information if you are unsure on anything. Thank you for your continued patience with us.

Welcome To Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital

COVID-19

During the period of restrictions, the Hospital is closing at 17:00 rather than 19:00 on weekdays, and at 12:00 rather than 14:00 on Saturdays.  We are still providing our 24/7 emergency service.

Our surgery in Begbroke will be open 9-5 weekdays, but closed Saturdays.  Our small branches in Bloxham and Burford will be closed most days.

As of May 11th, we are providing almost all our normal services, including all vaccinations and neutering.

Our social distancing and covid-19 biosecurity precautions - required to protect our staff, our clients, and reduce the general spread of covid-19 - require the following:

•  If you bring your animal to the practice, please minimise the number of people who come with you, and please wait in the car park and call us (01608 642547) to tell us you are there.

•  Please tell us if you are self-isolating or ill with coronavirus symptoms.

•  If you are self-isolating or ill with coronavirus symptoms, if possible, please arrange for a friend or family member to bring your pet to us.

•  If you need pet food or medications, including routine flea and worm treatments, please call ahead to arrange pick-up.  Then when you come to the practice, please wait in the car park and call us (01608 642547) to tell us you are there.

There remains no evidence that pets, including dogs and cats, can become ill with COVID-19 under natural conditions, or that they are actively involved in the spread of infection to humans.  However, like other physical objects, they may be contaminated with the virus and so could potentially contribute to spread in that way.
