*Dog Owners* There have recently been a few cases of Canine Parvovirus in vaccinated and unvaccinated dogs in the area. We are asking everyone to vigilant.

Parvovirus in dogs is a highly contagious virus and dogs can have the disease up to 7 days before they show any symptoms. The most common symptoms are vomiting, bloody diarrhoea and lethargy.

We are advising everyone to make sure their dogs vaccinations are up to date and if any dog show signs of vomiting or bloody diarrhoea to contact their vets for advise as soon as possible. The blue cross website has more information on Canine Parvovirus or please feel free to call reception for advice. 01608 642547
