Did you know dogs can donate blood too? Being world blood donor day yesterday we wanted to spread the word of the dog blood donors. Pet Blood Bank UK needs more dogs to come forward as lifesavers particularly those breeds more prone to being negative blood type. Could your dog be a blood donor? We run regular donation sessions at Chipping Norton Vets for Pet Blood Bank. If your dog is fit and healthy, between 1 and 8 years old, weighs over 25kg and never travelled abroad please consider registering them as a donor. These pictures show Yogi and his story. Visit www.petbloodbankuk.org for more information
