David runs referral clinics at Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital on a regular basis, doing either hearing testing, or seeing dermatology cases - dealing with complex skin and ear problems in dogs and cats owned by our clients and those from other practices in the area.

Hearing tests are usually required for one of two reasons.

Either to check whether puppies or kittens of breeds at-risk for deafness are deaf or partially deaf in one or both ears, or as part of the investigation of deafness in older animals.  David uses the standard method of hearing testing, BAER (brainstem auditory evoked response) testing.

The test takes only a few minutes and can usually be done without the need for any sedative or anaesthesia.

Please see David's website for more information: www.vethearingservice.co.uk

If you are not a client of Chipping Norton Vets, you can ask your vet to refer your animals to see David at one of his clinics.
